I was just wondering one thing that is kind of embarrassing, and I don't know if you answer this sort of questions. It's difficult to describe, is it normal to have buds still? I'm 14 going on 15 and my breasts have grown to 34c and I still have buds and I also have stretch marks too, is that normal? I'm worried because its weird.
The stages of a woman's development can be marked the changes in the shape of her breasts.
Stage 1, childhood, shows no discernible breasts.
Stage 2 is when a child has past puberty and is now beginning to change. The breasts look like small bumps and are referred to as "buds."
Stage 3 is when the rapid growth phase. During this phase the breasts become more noticeable.
Stage 4 is when growth slows back down. The breasts are still not a full adult shape. For many it can appear that there is a bump on top to the breasts, which is what I suspect you are seeing.
Stage 5 is when growth has completely stopped. The breast now have an adult shape and fullness.
Stretch marks come whenever the tissue beneath the skin grows faster than the skin. Therefore, rapid growth, putting on too much weight, or bearing a child can all cause stretch marks.
