I was touched by a man’s penis several times. The man was about 25 years old when I was six or seven years old. Was that rape? My current boyfriend thinks I am a virgin. Should I tell him what happened?
Answer:
If there was no penetration, it would be considered sexual assault according to the law. Not that it makes what happened any less wrong. It would not change your status as a virgin, but I do think you should let him know that you were sexually assaulted as a child because if there are problems related to sex after you are married, he would understand what is happening better and be more understanding of you.
