Question:
If I weigh 110 lbs now and I am 15 do you think my breasts will get bigger than they are now? I am at stage 4.2, but still, they are still very small compared to everyone else’s. I know I should be thankful for the temple God has given me, but still, I just want to know.
Thanks so much!
Answer:
Your breast will fill out a bit more, but someone at 4.2 will not likely gain a larger size. But what does not matter? The size of a woman’s breasts doesn’t change her beauty. “Do not let your adornment be merely outward–arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel– rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God” (I Peter 3:3-4). Just because advertisers, who have products to sell, want to emphasize physical form, it does make physical form important.
It is true that many boys tend to be attracted initially to girls by their outward appearance, but you will find that some boys prefer slimmer girls over large breasted girls and some the other way around. How well you keep yourself, will do far more to cause boys to notice you than the overall shape of your body. But even more important, you probably don’t want the attention of boys who are only looking at your body. They tend to have only one thing on their mind and it isn’t in your best interest. You should be looking for boys who are interested in you — your personality and your character. Those are the boys worth keeping around.
