When are my breasts going to get larger?

Question:

Hi,

I’m a 13-year-old girl, who’s 90 pounds and 5’3. My breasts started budding when I was 11 and they have been the same size for 2 years now (there between stages 2 and 3). I want to know when will they start growing again because I’m self-conscious about my boobs. Everyone in my class wears cup-bras and I’m here wearing a training one. I have underarm hair, pubic hair, and acne, also I did not get my period yet, but I have like little pin-pricked dots of red in my underwear with my discharge. I don’t get red dots every day though but I do get a discharge. My mom got her first bra when she was 12, so what’s happening to me? Have my boobs stopped growing? Am I too skinny for my boobs to grow?

Please answer this will help a lot.

Answer:

It is shape, not size, that indicates a girl’s stage of development. It sounds like you are somewhere between stage 3 and 4.

The amount of fat a woman is carrying on her body will affect her breast size to a limited extent. But some women just don’t have large breasts. Many women’s breasts don’t expand until after having a child when the breasts begin milk production.

You are the right size for you. You don’t have to be like other people to be happy.
